World Wide Technology focuses on building a culture of inclusivity. In the context of St. Louis CITY SC, it refers to the efforts taken to ensure representation, fair treatment, inclusion, and a sense of belonging for young individuals with an interest in soccer, regardless of their race, gender, age, nationality, disability, or any other characteristic.
CITY Futures Cup provides access to equipment, coaching & competition to underserved communities to ensure everyone has the opportunity to develop their skills both on and off the field.
Mill Creek Valley Gate
Gate D, located at the southwestern corner of CITYPARK, is the "World Wide Technology Gate," serving as a guidepost for fans entering the stadium on matchdays. This gate is located next to "Pillars of the Valley," a permanent art installation that honors St. Louis' historic Black neighborhood Mill Creek Valley.
Pillars of the Valley honors and recognizes the 20,000 Black residents displaced from the once-thriving Mill Creek Valley neighborhood in the name of urban renewal in the 1950s. WWT aims to raise awareness of the contribution that Mill Creek Valley made to the City of St. Louis for so many years.
