Whether you’re a chapter-a-day reader or someone who enjoys a quick weekend binge, this is your chance to escape the work grind and dive into exciting new stories with your colleagues. Join us for an exciting literary journey designed specifically for rising professionals and those passionate about self-awareness and self-control! Embark on a captivating reading experience as we explore a carefully selected book, with a structured schedule to guide our progress, tackling a new section each week. Along the way, we'll come together for two dynamic live sessions, where we'll engage in thought-provoking discussions, debates, and reflections on the book’s themes, insights, and personal takeaways.

What to expect

Welcome to our month-long book club focused on Emotional Intelligence by Brandon Goleman! Each week, we'll read a small portion of the book, allowing us to thoughtfully reflect on and engage with the material at a comfortable pace. We'll have two live discussions—one midway through and another at the end—providing an opportunity to explore the concepts more deeply and share our insights and experiences. •Week 1: Mid April - Why Do We need Emotions (Pages 1-38). •Week 2: April – The Social Competencies of Emotional Intelligence (Pages 39-74). •Week 3: May – Emotional Intelligence at Work (Pages 75-100) Live discussion up to here. •Week 4: May – Are You Emotionally Intelligent? (Pages 101-123). •Week 5: May – Ensure that everyone has the opportunity to finish reading the book. •Week 6: May - Final live discussion of book.
