Cisco ACI Multisite Nexus Dashboard Orchestrator.

Cisco's Nexus Dashboard Orchestrator (NDO) allows an ACI policy to be managed with a single pane of glass to for the whole environment. The key to NDO, the administrator is able to create consistent security and connectivity policies across multiple physical, and virtual sites.

This lab will go through all the steps necessary to bring up an ACI Multi-Site environment from two existing ACI fabrics. 

Deploying policy from NDO

• Restore MSITE-EAST and MSITE-WEST fabrics using the ACI simulator
• Importing sites into NDO
• Spine policy and ISN connectivity
• Infra policies in NDO
• New Tenant in the NDO
• Schema Templates, Create and deploy sites

The following multi-site lab aims to familiarize the student with configuring NDO and adding the ACI fabrics. Basic concepts of ACI Tenants, application profiles, EPGs and bridge domains will be presented, and the student will see how NDO can manage these ACI policy constructs.

ACI policies will be configured on the ACI spine switches for connectivity to the ISN (Inter-Site Network), which allows the ACI fabrics to form one large fabric to be managed by the NDO. Using the NDO, students will be introduced to configuring the ACI infra policy to connect the spines and ISNs, then using the NDO to configure the ACI policy using Tenants, schemas, and templates.
