Foundations Lab

Solution overview

In this hands-on lab, you will take on an exciting journey into the world of Kubernetes. Whether you are a beginner or have some experience with Kubernetes, this lab will provide you with the opportunity to learn and practice deploying a basic Kubernetes cluster from scratch on a Linux operating system.

Kubernetes has emerged as the de facto standard for container orchestration, enabling organizations to efficiently manage and scale their containerized applications. However, setting up a Kubernetes cluster can be a daunting task for many, especially for those new to the technology. That's where this lab comes in.

Throughout this lab, we will guide you through the step-by-step process of building a Kubernetes cluster from the ground up. You will gain valuable hands-on experience in deploying essential components such as the Container Runtime Interface (CRI), Container Network Interface (CNI) and Load Balancer, as well as launching an application within your cluster.

By the end of this lab, you will have an understanding of the fundamental concepts and components that make up a Kubernetes cluster.
