Manage and Monitor SD-Routing Devices
Advanced Configuration Lab
Solution overview
The Manage and Monitor SD-Routing Devices Lab is a capability of the Advanced Technology Center (ATC) designed to provide an environment to gain hands-on experience with one of Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN's newest features, SD-Routing. The environment that supports the lab is completely virtual, removing any hardware dependencies associated with physical infrastructure.
SD-Routing (Software-Defined Routing) is designed to simplify the way we manage our traditional routing devices. Onboarding devices using SD-Routing allows you to manage, monitor, and troubleshoot non-fabric devices from the Catalyst Manager, making way for operational simplicity and agility to traditional routing deployments. SD-Routing makes it easier for administrators and engineers to manage their devices all within a single unified management platform, enabling them to streamline processes that would normally need to be accomplished by accessing separate applications or multiple windows.
This lab enables users to gain hands-on experience in deploying, managing, and monitoring traditional routing devices through the use of SD-Routing.
