St. Louis, MO – November 22, 2024 – World Wide Technology (WWT) announced today it has been awarded a five-year, $56 million Air Force Unified Communications Enterprise Agreement to support the U.S. Air Force's deployment and licensing of Cisco Unified communications.

Under the agreement, WWT and Cisco will deploy scalable, high-performance communications solutions that meet both the current and future needs of the Air Force by streamlining licensing models, reducing costs and addressing licensing gaps as the Air Force's requirements evolve. The Air Force will receive comprehensive coverage for software, licenses, and support for Cisco's on-premise voice and conferencing solutions.

This ongoing collaboration between the Air Force, WWT and Cisco will help the Air Force continuously integrate new communications capabilities, including future advancements in Cisco's voice and conferencing technologies. Additionally, the agreement ensures financial predictability for the Air Force by providing price protection and a "True Forward" process— an annual review of its licensing usage.

"We're excited to work with the U.S. Air Force to help them modernize and unify their communications infrastructure," said Keith Linenberger, Director, U.S. Air Force and U.S. Space Force at WWT. "Having access to reliable, scalable, and secure communications technology is vital to advancing the Air Force's mission-critical operations. WWT is proud to support the Air Force and help improve collaboration, efficiency, and readiness for the modern warfighter."

With more than 30 years of experience supporting the Department of Defense, WWT will combine its expertise in integration and deployment with Cisco's innovative technologies to create a cost-effective and comprehensive end-to-end solution that meets the strict compliance and security requirements of the Air Force.

"Our partnership with industry is vital for enhancing secure, real-time communications for the warfighter," said Dr. Keith Hardiman, Department of the Air Force Enterprise IT Director. "This integration not only boosts mission-critical operational readiness and response times but also ensures seamless collaboration for our personnel, whether on base or deployed."
