I leverage intelligent use of technology to solve complicated problems I bring to bear 25 years of knowledge and senior level experience in the domains of internetworking, Internet services and security, and SME expertise of application delivery networking and L4-7 security. Technology today doesn’t exist in a vacuum – it is no longer sufficient to point solutions and strategies. Rather it has become paramount to deeply understand and effectively explain how an entire application and network ecosystems work together, especially when such ecosystems are distributed and interdependent. My current focus is the realm of App, API, and Workload Security, involving technologies and OEMs such as F5 (BIG-IP), Cloud Software Group [Citrix] (NetScaler/Citrix ADC), DDoS mitigation, SSL/TLS + PKI, WAF/WAAP, among many others. Other interests include Internet standards and best practices, interconnection, routing and peering, and evangelism of RFC 1925.
