About David
David is a trusted leader with extensive judiciary and legislative experience and particular expertise with topics including the alignment of business and technology strategy, cybersecurity, managed services, smart cities, and digital transformation.
David is a nationally recognized business and technology leader who continually demonstrates the ability to lead, grow, and foster profitable businesses, all while supporting the community. He is passionate about relationships, earning trust, building successful and culturally diverse teams that focus on execution, and providing technology solutions that deliver business value with first-class customer service. His proven track record of establishing a culture of excellence, profitability and growth, and successfully leading companies and key initiatives—while mentoring and establishing a highly talented team of executives—is a direct result of believing that people make the difference and culture matters.
Prior to joining WWT, David served in a variety of public and private leadership positions, including prominent roles as the President of GMI (nVision); Executive Vice President of Valor Global; and the Chief Information Officer for Maricopa County, AZ, the fourth largest and fastest growing County in the Nation. During his service with Maricopa County, David managed an information services platform that served a population larger than 23 states combined and spanned 9,000 square miles.
In 2017, David was selected to be part of Business Transformation 150 (BT150), an elite list of the top global executives leading innovative business transformation efforts across their organizations. Each executive demonstrates proficiency in establishing and building new business models, implementing emerging technologies and leading in an ethical and humane manner.
In 2015, David was selected as a Premier 100 Leader by Computer World for his leadership and strategic vision to meet the needs of technology and business. David regularly presents at national conferences, is published in a variety of magazines, and serves on several advisory boards and committees.
David currently holds a security clearance with the FBI through the Department of Justice and attended the Center for Asymmetric Warfare FBI Information Sharing program through the Naval Postgraduate School in California. He is a native of Arizona and a proud veteran of the U.S. Army.
