About Katie
As Senior Vice President of Services, Katie Heyel is dedicated to positioning WWT as a trusted advisor and service delivery partner for our clients. She is responsible for driving exceptional client outcomes through end-to-end expertise and emerging solutions while ensuring profitability and fostering talent growth.
Driven by technology's transformative potential, Katie is focused on integrating market-competitive solutions that align with customer needs and developing new growth strategies to capture market share. WWT's Services team currently delivers more than 3,000 projects annually, delivering high-quality work in AI, security, digital, cloud and infrastructure.
Katie's career is marked by a passion for growing emerging businesses and helping clients tackle their most strategic challenges. She thrives on learning new technologies, collaborating with diverse teams, and mentoring others to enhance their skills and navigate their careers. She leads collaboratively, empowering her team to share ideas and take ownership. Katie values integrity, empathy and adaptability to build trust and strong relationships in a rapidly changing environment.
Before joining WWT, Katie spent 23 years working in consulting, during which time she gained broad experience leading large-scale programs in management and technology consulting, systems integration, and outsourcing. She has extensive experience in workforce transformation, infrastructure transformation, cloud computing, digital, security, sourcing strategies and all phases of the delivery lifecycle.
Katie's contributions to WWT and the broader industry have not gone unnoticed. She was named to CRN's 2024 Women of the Channel List and the elite 2024 Women of the Channel Power 100. Her work ethic and dedication continue to inspire those around her, making her a respected leader in the field.
Katie earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics and a minor in business from Saint Louis University. She played Division I tennis at both Boston College and Saint Louis University.
Outside of work, Katie is actively involved in the St. Louis community, where she and her mother volunteer with their therapy dogs at a cancer center hospital. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, riding horses, biking on the Katy Trail, playing golf and practicing her faith.
Katie's dedication to her work and her personal life is driven by the motto "work hard, play hard," which her family instilled in her from a young age. This guiding principle has been a cornerstone of her success both personally and professionally.
